Project Manager Assist
The Project Manager Assist is responsible to assist in the execution of a successful project from conception through construction and installation. The Project Manager Assist will engage and professionally interact with the design professionals, consultants and with the contractor. They will maintain the receiving, budget, and catalog sheets., This position is responsible for knowing the status of all orders, for creating and maintaining schedules and keeping Design Manager updated. They manage the day-to-day production on specific projects to meet deadlines accurately.
Duties & Responsibilities

Assist in bringing project to a close after installation

Assist in the preparation for project installations

Create delivery tickets

Update wall schedules, lighting schedules, drapery schedules, and bedding schedules as changes are communicated.

Create and complete catalog sheets for each design presentation. Work directly with design team and Project Manager to complete in a timely manner.

Ensure that all spec sheets are stamped and have all information listed.

Assemble and maintain project bins.

Keep Design Manager updated so accounting can invoice ASAP for merchandise. This includes, but not limited to status checks, receiving items, inactivating items, returning items to inventory that are not approved by client.

Price and proposal all “as is” items. 2 Employee Initials

Complete all receiving on a weekly basis. Update the Project Manager on the status of any backordered items as well as update the budget.

Collect product selections from designers and create catalog sheets.

Completing time sheets daily.

Complete item return/damaged forms and forward to appropriate personnel for follow up.

Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
Include, but are not limited to:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, InDesign, Photoshop, and AutoCAD.

Knowledge of Graphic presentation skills

Knowledge of furniture, fixture, and equipment (FF&E) architectural/interior finishes, lighting, color, and material

Knowledge of construction terms, scheduling, and planning concepts.

Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.

PMP certification a plus.

Time management, organizational presentation, and interpersonal skills
-
Attention to detail.

Works well on teams and independently

8-hour shift
Monday to Friday
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience:

0-4 years administrative or customer service experience
-
1 + years of project management experience
Work Condition:
In-person
Working conditions are normal for an office environment with flexibility in schedule. Work may require some weekend and evening work. Some travel may be required.
